We’re entering our second week of July and thanks to Canada day the vibes in Toronto have sky rocketed. With an endless amount of options to keep you out in the sun for as long as possible, we’ve picked a couple events that shouldn’t be overlooked.
In order to not be hungry, one must eat. Rib Fest recently passed but this entire month is dedicated to something called “Summerlicious” so you haven’t missed anything yet.
Summerlicious is the sister event to Winterlicious, a citywide event where various restaurants create price reduced prix fix menus resulting in multiple reservations for one - on from July 7
th to the 23
rd.
If you’re trying to kick back and watch a lil something, there is no shortage on live arts and entertainment. The
Fringe Festival is an indie festival that has been steadily growing for the past 3 decades - currently on from the 5
th through the 16
th. If you missed out on the recent TD Jazz Fest with acts such as Robert Glasper and Gregory Porter, you’ll definitely want to hit the
Beaches International Jazz Fest, which starts July 7
th til the 30
th.
Last but not least for all the gear heads out there, the
Honda Indy Toronto is back this summer taking over the Exhibition Place grounds from the 14
th to the 16
th.
If you’ve come this far and nothing has you jumping off your seat and into the sun… at least you’re now informed of some of the amazing events going on this city. Trust us; this is only a glimpse of what July has to offer.
