Since 1995, Warehouse & Co. have built an exceptional reputation in Japanese denim through their meticulous reproductions of vintage American jeans. They are a member of the ‘Osaka 5’– a group of companies who revolutionized the Japanese denim industry in the 80s / 90s. Warehouse is painstaking in their inclusion of period-specific details for their jeans. Their denim is produced on vintage looms from the 1950s, and custom-woven to closely replicate American pairs from the 30s-50s. They may specialize in selvedge Japanese denim, but the rest of their catalogue is not to be missed. The Warehouse lot 4601 loopwheel t-shirts are favourites of ours here, and each season brings a new twist on vintage Americana.
