On Tap: FW19 Editorial

Now that the weather has started to cool off a bit, everyone has started to pull out their favourite fall pieces. With the shop full of new goods, we thought it would be the perfect time to show you some smooth and wearable fits at the best sports bar on the strip. Gitman Bros. Vintage, Engineered Garments and Stepney Workers Club are just a few of the brands you’ll see throughout part one of our Fall/Winter 19 Editorial!
Mixing corduroy, denim, wool and leather is basically the starter kit to having the perfect fit for the season. Continuing with their patchwork aesthetic, the latest Bucket Hat from EG comes in a mix-panelled offering capable of shielding all airborne elements. With a denim Overshirt from Schnayderman’s and a wool version of the Kyle from Norse Projects, the combination of both is a great pairing when sitting back and enjoying a beer. We have a small thing for cargo pants and boots too, so pairing Sage de Cret with Paraboot was an easy choice. The M43 Type Trousers, while cropped, sit perfectly above the rugged and casual Chambord shoe. If you have a thing for prints and cats, you might have something in common with our friend in the Gitman Bros. Vintage Polar Leopard Print shirt. Featuring our favourite camp collar and coming with a slightly relaxed fit, it’s worn with some pleated trousers from MHL and Viberg’s take on a runner.
After a few drinks had been shared, a game of foosball had to be played. Between the two of them, Margaret Howell and MHL play a main roll in keeping them warm and mobile during their dual. With a thick merino knit crew from Andersen-Andersen and durable cords from EG, adding a bit of rabbit to a Paraboot staple Michael makes this a fatherly fit we can all get behind. Foosball got a bit tiring after a couple of rounds, so pool was next up to highlights the more laid back aspects of fall. Wearing the Work Vest from MHL, the National sweater works wonders when combined with the lambswool lining of the vest. The new Albin Chino is a great tapered cut from Norse Projects that fall perfectly over a pair of classic Converse or any shoe you might have on hand.
With things coming to a close, we think we saved the best for last! Sage de Cret, Engineered Garments, and uniforme inc. come together for a multi layered and textured fit anyone can wear. The Hooded Interliner plays a crucial role in optimizing your layering game this season and works with any top you plan on wearing, except hoodies. The newest sneaker to join the family at the shop is a low-key sneaker from the UK that should do you well in most conditions before the snow falls. A returning favourite from last year, the Over Vest comes with a leopard lining that layers great with the newest wool blended hoodie from Norse Projects. The setting seemed right to pull out The Real McCoy’s and their latest pant for fall. Using a white contrast stitching along each seam of the Double Knee Trousers, the monotone Chuck’s works well to balance the contrast.
Beer, games and good clothes is all we need for the next couple of months, so hopefully this gave you a bit of inspiration for the season ahead. From top to bottom, we have you covered for all activities you may get up to before winter strikes!
