These fabrics are often created using traditional Japanese dyeing and weaving techniques, such as the Azumadaki method, which produces an exceptionally soft, relaxed hand feel. Because the yarns are dyed before weaving, the gingham pattern is consistent on both sides, making the fabric reversible and durable.
