Another epic collab for Paraboot. This time Norse Projects has re-created the Thiers in their vision. Using the 1960s silhouette to reimagine the historic gunboat hangars in Copenhagen’s Holmen district. This shoe pays tribute to the Kanonbådsskure. Built in 1820 to store Royall Danish Navy vessels, the timber framed buildings have now been transformed into architecture studios and the Norse Projects design studio.

The design is re-iterated with leather laces and the “Rocade” outsole — a lightweight rubber sole made in France, selected from the Paraboot archives.

Crafted with a suede upper, leather lining, and finished with Blake stitching, the Thiers offers a streamlined traditional last with a slightly short and rounded toe.

To say this is perfect is an understatement. Quite possibly the shoe of the season and should not be slept on. Wonderful colourway, fantastic fit and the perfect seasonal shoe.
