This flight jacket was adopted by the Navy back in 1936. The front pockets aren’t just pockets , they’ve got these fancy “center inverted pleats”, so yes they're still pockets, they're just super fancy. Rocking a front zipper which was pretty modern for the ’30s and the shell is made from tough, wind-resistant cotton cord cloth.
