The Black Wabash Work Trousers from The Real McCoy's are based on original work pants from the 1930s, but this isn't your typical Wabash.
Instead of the familiar indigo discharge print, these are cut from black sulfur-dyed fabric, a variation developed in the 1930s as demand for indigo workwear began to fade (beautiful pun). Produced in incredibly small numbers, original examples have become almost impossible to find today.
Fortunately, The Real McCoy's owns one of those rare surviving pieces. The result is a faithful recreation of one of workwear's rarest textiles, built to fade beautifully with years of wear.
