- Our arsenal of footwear just received some reinforcements from Japan. foot the coacher. Entirely handmade in Japan, the brand was created by Toshinosuke Takegahara in 2000. Takegahara learned and honed his skills as a shoemaker for Tricker's. And with his knowledge and experience he brought this back to Japan to start his own endeavour.
