DESCRIPTION

A small accessory with a great story. Conkers' Knot Scarf is cut from a pre-shrunk 100% Irish linen twill in a classic tattersall check, woven by Emblem Weavers in Wexford, Ireland. Each scarf is overdyed brown after it's made, which softens the check into warm, earthy tones and gives every piece a slightly different character.

The edges are left raw so they fray softly over time. The best detail is the button: an antique one reclaimed from the River Thames by mudlarks, the people who search the riverbanks at low tide. Many of these buttons came from clothing lost in the river over a century ago, so no two scarves are the same.
